Overview:
Quintessential Mortgage Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Licensed Loan Officer Assistant or Junior Loan Officer to join our high-performing team in the Capital District. This position offers the opportunity to work directly alongside a top-producing Loan Officer in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate is a licensed professional with a strong foundation in mortgage lending who is ready to take their career to the next level. This role provides a base salary of $52,000, with the potential to earn a six-figure income through commission and performance incentives. Applicant should expect $90,000+ after commission with possibility for more income potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Loan Officer in managing a full loan pipeline from application through closing.
Prepare, review, and process loan applications and supporting documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain consistent communication with clients, real estate professionals, processors, and internal staff to ensure a smooth and timely loan process.
Track deadlines, verify compliance, and resolve any issues to keep transactions on schedule.
Support marketing initiatives, client follow-up efforts, and database management to strengthen client relationships and enhance business growth.

Qualifications:

Active NMLS license is required.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in mortgage lending, loan processing, or related roles.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Proactive mindset with a desire to learn and advance within the organization.
Willingness to participate in rotating weekend availability as needed.
